- I was born in Salvador, Bahia which makes me Brasilian. I am fluent in Portuguese and English. I can make my way around Spanish.
- I married my high school sweetheart at the age of 21!–Had to wait so I could drink at my wedding!
- I moved to the USA at the age of 5 in 1997 and didn’t become a US citizen until 2018.
- My favorite color is PINK!– I am such girl!
- I have the biggest sweet tooth! Sour gummy lifesavers are my fav.
- I am obsessed with my dog.
- I am deadly afraid of spiders and any bug with that being said. I will wake up my husband up to kill them.
- I am a decent driver but I am terrible at parking. My car will always be crooked.. I apologize in advance!
- I had to drop out of Nursing school the first time around due to immigration complications.
- I enjoy doing funny dance moves around the house… my poor husband.
- I have the worst concept of time!
- With that being said I am literally late to everything! Now I do blame that on being Brasilian because we are just very laid back people when it comes to time.
- I started my blog so that others would feel comfortable in their own skin by just being themselves.
- I love to lay on the couch and watch Netflix… I may do this a little too often.
- I always wear my glasses because contacts irritate my eyes. I have a serious case of chronic dry eyes… it’s no fun.
- I am a first-generation college graduate.
- I dislike cooking very much… might I add I totally also hate doing the dishes.
- My favorite type of food is Japanese food.
- I am one of the most disorganized person you probably know.
- My favorite ice cream is a vanilla cone from Mcdonalds!
- I love to sing! Although I did show choir in high school, I am not the best singer.
- I am the worst person to have on a road trip. I can fall asleep in the car after 5 minutes of driving.
- I usually don’t like surprises (other than gifts off course).
- I have a shopping addiction. You can usually find me at the mall or my fav boutique on 3 out of 4 days that I have off.
- I seem to always have word finding issues at work… I blame it on brain fog due to lack of sleep.
- I have terrible memory issues. I hardly even remember my childhood.
- I have never called into work with a lie. The one time I left work was to see a friend that was in the ICU in the hospital.
- I am terrified of heights, but I love roller coasters.
